Rent the Tent---FREE!
| | After a great deal of consideration, RC has decided not to set
up a retail store at Saturday XC meets. However, this does not mean
we will not be present.
We would like to give local cross country programs the chance to use our tent for local XC meets. The tent is 20 feet tall and has a diameter of 45 feet. Whether it be the
hot sun or cold fall rain, the RC tent is perfect to cover your team and
their gear from all of the elements faced during the season. The use of the tent is FREE and we will even
bring the tent to the meet, set it up, and tear it down. All you have to do is email us to reserve your day. Please
understand this offer is on a first come first serve basis. Email requests to: adam@ runningcentral.net

Marathon Fueling Strategies
| Okay, you've been training all summer for that marathon coming up and you did all the research in the world to figure out what the heck a fartlek is and why people wake up at 5a.m. to do a long run in Peoria in July.
But don't worry---you're not alone if you're still not really sure what gels are (other than something you use to style your hair) or why you always need to use the bathroom 10 minutes into your long run (we've all been there). Use this quick guide and these handy links to help take the mystery out of marathon fueling.
